Kitwe City Council is indulging in various projects to help develop and sustain the city of Kitwe. 

There are different locations where these projects will take place.  

Citizens and stakeholders made proposals to their respective zonal representatives, Ward Development Committees (WDCs) and the local authority. The proposals are in line with the constitutional and statutory functions of a local authority and the Seventh National Development Plan (7NDP).

Various programmes and projects have been prioritised for possible implementation and the lists of the proposed Ward Development Fund (WDF) projects and Local Government Equalisation Fund (LGEF) capital projects have been submitted for appraisal and approval.
